Our story begins in 2004 as two cross country teens, bored and by chance finding one another through the sea of weird that is AOL instant messenger (aka AIM) developed an unbreakable bond. Be it our love for trash reality TV, debating while one uses logic and the other defies it or just simply carrying on conversations for hours and hours and hours about anything and everything. Love at first type? You could say so.

Throughout the years of talking and contact, love continued to burn bright. Even when it looked bleak and contact had been lost, we always found a way back to each other. On August 19^th 2014 we finally met after 10 LONG years in New Jersey and we’ve never looked back. What was supposed to be a week trip turned into a month of pure bliss.

Cortney flew to California in December of 2014 and despite her everlasting love for New Jersey, it was no match for her love for her Lexi. Choosing to stay and build a life together, we never wanted to be apart again.

It seemed as though it was only a matter of time until Alex proposed to Cortney. Despite the frustration she experienced with Alex waiting until the last-minute in his attempt to keep her on her toes, Cortney said yes to Alex’s proposal on New Year’s Eve 2017. Surrounded by loved ones and an appropriate “She Said Yes” chant…we became engaged.

Forever and ever we shall grow together and on May 18^th 2019 we invite you to "eat, drink and be married".
